...and I actually almost typo'ed the title "whine might". A calendar illustration for a small and secret project called DeliPie.
Working with a 600dpi, 7000px wide image is tedious, especially when you have to switch between OpenCanvas, Photoshop and Painter all the time. I worked mostly in PS, but made the background in OC and the magic some other details in Painter. I also made all the textures myself, because I didn't want to spend time looking for free-to-use ones (this is a commercial project). I scanned some of my kimonos and shirts, towels and a carpet from the bathroom, and the snow is made of toilet paper and wad.
Prints will most likely be available at Animecon.
